The House of Commons Women and Equalities Committee is holding a consultation on the subject of Abortion in Northern Ireland. It is very important the Committee - which does not include a single Northern Irish MP - hears from individuals right across Northern Ireland in opposition to Westminster interfering to impose widespread access to abortion here.
Below we have provided a form through which you can make a response to the Committee. We have provided some guidance as to some of the points you may like to make in relation to each box. It is crucial, however, that you make these points in your own words - do not copy and paste these points. From experience, we know that pro-forma responses are often grouped and ignored in consultation exercises. If you want to make your response count, you need to put it in your own words.
The final box here is for personal stories. The Committee will be interested in the personal stories of individuals living in Northern Ireland with regard to abortion. If you have a personal story of how the law in Northern Ireland has had a positive, life-saving impact and you feel able to send it to the committee, this would be hugely appreciated.
